Welcome to the 2009-10 school year!  We are in for a great year at LAKEVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

The school year 2009-2010 is the year for a new/improved MODEL of Reading and Gifted Education Curriculum delivery.  I will be a facilitator in the classrooms and be assisting the students identified for have Reading difficulties, and also helping facilitate, with the regular classroom teacher, for enrichment lessons.  This model is being utilized across the district, and we are excited about the changes, although it will take time (baby steps) to make this change as comfortable as possible for all involved.  I’m looking forward to a great year for all the students I work with at Lakeview Elementary.
