About Me

I am a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I have a BS degree in Health and Physical Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for 6 years, (3 years in Tulsa, and 3 years in Norman Public Schools).

I am a published children’s author and illustrator. My book came out in May of 2008. It is called Juan Carlos and the Hairy Chested Chili Pepper.

I have a very busy family which inclues my husband Narciso , daughter Jacque, and sons Wyatt, Ethan, and Maxon. We love jumping on the trampoline, playing in the backyard, going to all kinds of sporting events, snow skiing, and reading together (especially Tall Tales and Dr. Seuss)
