AMBUCS Special Education Teacher of the Year Each year the Sooner Chapter of AMBUCS and the Norman Public Schools recognize one special education teacher for their service and commitment to students with disabilities. The recipient receives a check from the Sooner Chapter of AMBUCS in the amount of $500.00 and their name inscribed on a plaque that is located at Special Services.
