Mrs. BIBB’s Music Room
Welcome to OUR WORLD!
This year in my Music Classes we are going to focus on
MUSIC in “OUR
WORLD”. We will learn about many of the instruments
used in various countries. Some of the instruments will be available for
students to use. We will also be singing songs from many cultures.
Dr. Max Bendiner said, “MUSIC
may achieve the highest of all missions: she may be a bond between nations,
races and states, who are strangers to one another in many ways; she may unite
what is disunited, and bring peace to what is hostile.”
In this day and time, we must learn about people and from people of other cultures. Many people are traveling for
pleasure and many others are involved in business or government ventures with
countries all over the world. Anything that we can do to bridge the gaps of
understanding and appreciation for each other will make the world a better
place.
