Vision Statement

The World Language Department of Norman

Public Schools believes that all students can

learn other languages and strives to create life

-long world language learners and

communicators by fostering interest and

enthusiasm for world languages.  The staff

promotes understanding of other cultures and

communities while comparing and connecting

to ours and others.  Students build skills that

allow them to communicate appropriately in
