What is a Friend?

What are the special qualities of a friend? What do you want from a friend? How should he or she act towards you? What do you try to be to, and do for, your friends? What are some of the best things about friendship?

Write one paragraph discussing friends or friendship. (Do not write about a particular person.) Include a gerund sentence in your writing. Example: Sitting and gazing all day in the high tower is the lifeguard’s duty.
